The "Win The Battle!" Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), organization that offers support and resources to those children and adolescents who have fought or are fighting cancer or other debilitating diseases.  The foundation is aimed at targeting those kids who are or were also athletes while fighting their "battles".  While the phrase "Win The Battle" originated from baseball and coaching my own son, we offer support to athletes of any sport.

  • The dates for the 2012 WTB Baseball Event are set.  Come join us on July 26th through the 29th for a weekend of fun.  You can register via the online form or print and mail in the flier.
  • Stay tuned for additional events in 2012.  Still in the works are Golf, Wine Tasting, Softball and more!
  • Thanks to everyone who supported the WTB Foundation in 2011.  We had a great year in helping others through our family gifts and scholarship.  We look forward to keeping the momentum going in 2012 and beyond.

Nate Jurney/Leanna Cagle Scholarship


 

  • We are now accepting applications for the 2012 Scholarship.  Entries are due no later than June 17, 2012.  Click here for eligibility, criteria and how to apply.  The scholarsahip will be awarded on July 17, 2012.

 

  • Joel Nelson, a 2011 graduate of Ralston Valley High School was the 2011 WTB Nate Jurney/Leanna Cagle $3000 Scholarship recipient.  Joel is attending the University of Nebraska.  See more about Joel on our Recipients page.

Funds received by "Win The Battle" will be distributed to young athletes and their families in need to help offset medical costs and to provide wellness opportunities.  Additional funds will be distributed to other cancer support and research organizations.
